At Builders Academy Australia (BAA), your wellbeing is just as important as your academic success. We’re committed to creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every student can thrive. Whether you're studying in person, online, or on-site, our team is here to provide the guidance, resources, and care you need throughout your learning journey.
Our Commitment to You
BAA provides a range of student support services designed to help you succeed in your course and feel supported along the way. These services may include (but are not limited to):
Pre-enrolment information and materials
Orientation sessions and resources
Study support and academic skills development
Language, Literacy, Numeracy & Digital Skills (LLND) assistance
Resources to increase access for learners with disabilities
Mediation services or referrals to these services
Flexible training and assessment arrangements (where eligible)
Counselling services or referrals to external providers
Academic pathways and further study information
Information Technology (IT) and Canvas (LMS) support
Learning materials in alternative formats (e.g. large print)
Student Services & Support Team
Our dedicated Student Services team is here to ensure you have access to all the support you may need. This includes:
Student Success Coach - Support– to help with language, literacy, numeracy and digital skills challenges, general wellbeing, referrals, and crisis support
Student Success Coach - to help navigate the course, book support sessions, and work through any challenges
Course Advisors – to help with enrolment, pathways, and course planning
IT Support – for help navigating our systems and learning platforms

Support for Students with Disability
BAA acknowledges the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and the Disability Standards for Education 2005. We are committed to providing reasonable adjustments to ensure students with disabilities can participate in training and assessment on the same basis as other students. Students requesting adjustments should:
Contact the Student Success Coach - Support
Provide supporting documentation (e.g. a letter from a treating professional)
Assessment methods and learning requirements are only varied where appropriate documentation confirms that disadvantage is experienced as a result of disability.
Mental Health & Personal Support
We understand that life can get stressful, and we want to make sure you're supported both in and outside the classroom. We can assist with:
Mental health and emotional wellbeing
Stress or study anxiety
Work-life-study balance
General wellbeing concerns
Each student can access up to 8 free, confidential counselling sessions through our support network.
Support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students
Builders Academy Australia acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and learn. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and recognise the ongoing connection of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to Country, culture, and community. We are committed to supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through:
